Milo learns to Fetch

Hello Blogosphere,

It has been awhile since I've posted. I've been busy with my new job, driving back and forth to Waco, yoga workshop in Dallas, beginning to look for a house in Austin, and just generally enjoying life. Yesterday, Mom and Dad drove up to see my new office and I took them to lunch at Baylor's new faculty center. Then we shopped a bit, well Mom and I shopped a bit, Dad waited in the Books a Million store while we checked out Belk's and Cold Water Creek.

This morning, I'm catching up on various writing tasks and playing with Milo.

Here are some recent photos of Milo learning to fetch.

Here is the ball.

Spontaneous Trip to San Antonio

Friday Meg and Jesse came over and we had a great time.

Saturday I went upto Waco to talk at Winter Premeire, a Baylor recruiting event. I met Mom and Dad for lunch at Chipolte Grill on the way up.

Sunday, Jeff and I decided to go down to San Antonio Sunday morning to take George Purvis' class. He was doing an all levels workshop down there (more on that to follow on the teaching philo blog). Here's the yoga studio and pictures from the Pearl Brewery area.

On the way back we stopped in San Marcos to buy a pair of Sun Glasses and also to commemorate a trip we took to the shopping mall to pick up a coffee table for Randy. When we were looking for Pottery Barn, we called to get directions and they said it was across from the gondola.. what Gondola? So yesterday we went in search of the Gondola. It turns out there is no Gondola, only the space for a Gondola to move back and forth across a very small water way in the middle of a very large parking lot. Here is the sign for Gondola Park. Here is me looking for the gondola
